 Leucophyllum frutescens :shrubs are legendary for their ability to "forecast" rain, usually blooming several days prior to a rainstorm, apparently in response to humidity. They are sometimes called "barometer bush" for this reason. It is believed to be a survival trait in the plants' semi-desert habitats.

 I my self observed the barometer ability of this bush as you also can see that this snap was taken on 24 th morning when it bloomed with full of flowers and It rained in kondpur on same day evening
